Truth: People always ask me if any of my clients have been “left at the altar.”
I don’t think you have to be at the end of the aisle for the circumstances of a cancelled wedding to absolutely tragic. Today’s blog in The Huffington Post tells the real story of a couple who split up in front of me the day before the wedding – and the bride NEVER even saw it coming. As the wedding planner, it was the most awkward and uncomfortable position I could be put in, and I hope it never, ever happens again.
If you don’t want to get married, treat your fiancé with the respect he or she deserves and tell them privately, as far ahead of the planned wedding as possible.
Yep, sometimes I blog about depressing topics. But it’s all real and it’s all important to know so that you don’t repeat the mistakes of other brides and grooms.
Until next time, happy wedding planning from Sandy Malone Weddings & Events and Weddings in Vieques!
